Welcome to a new era for UAA Seawolf Hockey Alumni.
Our former Alumni Association was closely affiliated with UAA, so when our hockey program lost it's way, our hockey alumni association ceased to exist.
Since the rebirth of the UAA Hockey Program, alumni began collaborating ("The Founders Group") to rebuild our alumni association and ensure the longevity of our fraternity. With this goal in mind, our new alumni association will be called the Seawolf 4Life Foundation and will exist as an independent organization separate from UAA.
The Seawolf 4Life Foundation will focus our collaborative efforts in these three main areas:
To enrich the brotherhood of UAA Seawolves Hockey Alumni through community, connections, and contribution.
The Seawolf 4Life inaugural leadership team has begun the process of forming a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation for the operation of the Seawolf 4Life Foundation.
Organizational by-laws and structure will be forwarded to all Alumni soon.
Organization structure will consist of an alumni executive board and alumni membership.
Seawolf hockey alumni (1 yr min at UAA) will always be welcome in the Seawolf 4Life family as a member.
A fee based Alumni Membership program with benefits will be introduced. Fees will assist with operation of the non-profit.(accounting, legal, web site, etc.).
Revenue will be directed to support alumni relationships, support and philanthropic priorities.
An Associate membership will be available for supporters (non-voting membership).
Support of UAA Hockey
Alumni are encouraged to choose their level of support for the UAA hockey program outside of the Seawolf 4Life.
Seawolf 4Life “Founders” Group
Will be instrumental in vision casting for the foundation & influence our organization structure, bylaws & strategy.
