It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our teammate , Thomas (Tom) W Maroste. Tom was 60 years young. Tom was active in coaching and scouting over many years. Seawolf Hockey Alumni's thoughts and prayers are with Tom's family.

NEW Seawolf Hockey ARENA UPDATE
I am thrilled to share that we are in the early stages of planning a new arena that will enhance our facilities and provide an exceptional experience for our players and fans.
This state-of-the-art venue will not only serve as a home for our hockey team but will also be a community hub for events, training, and recreation. We believe this investment will strengthen our program and elevate our competitive edge at the collegiate level.
To make this vision a reality, we are actively seeking support from our alumni network and anyone who wants to be a part of this project. We invite you to consider contributing in any way possible to this transformative project.
Your involvement will not only help us secure the future of our program but also ensure that the next generation of athletes has access to top-notch facilities.

A Message from Chancellor Parnell
Hello Seawolf hockey alumni, donors, fans and friends,
I am excited to share our plans for Seawolf Hockey and our intent to develop a Division I ice arena on the Anchorage campus.
UAA is currently in contract with JLL, a national firm with expertise in assisting universities with public-private partnerships, who will guide us in building a Division I ice arena at UAA. In the coming year, we'll share many exciting details as this project progresses.
This year, we've budgeted authorized funding for the 2024-25 hockey season and to cover the entire Seawolf Athletics program in the next fiscal year. However, we need your continued financial support to make this vision a reality and to keep Seawolf Hockey sustainable for the long haul.
Please consider a donation to the Hockey Excellence Fund through the UA Foundation. Support our student-athletes and help us sustain and continue to build a great program to be enjoyed by our community for years to come.
